Ed Greene

Ed Greene

Radio Co-Host

Ed Greene spent almost all of his broadcast career in Denver, Colorado beginning as a disc jockey at KLZ, then onto KIMN, KIMN-FM, KAAT and KTLK Radio with stints ranging from disc jockey to Music Director to Program Director.

In 1976 Ed made the switch over to television beginning a career that spanned 42 years – longer that any on-air personality – in any capacity – in Denver broadcast television history. Ed has worked at all three major network affiliates: KMGH, KUSA and spending the bulk of his career at KCNC (CBS4): 32 years. Ed also worked at several radio stations simultaneously – primarily KYGO and KOA – in addition to his TV work. During his entire career, Ed continued to do voice work, TV and radio commercials, industrials and narrations for a variety of clients, including Garth Brook’s “Teammates for Kids” Foundation.

Ed also found time for small acting parts, but opposite the featured actor, in the TV series “Father Dowling” – debut episode – opposite lead star Tom Bosley, and “Diagnosis Murder” opposite lead star Dick Van Dyke. Ed has also emceed hundreds of events around Colorado – primarily for non-profit organizations – never charging a fee. Retiring from TV at the end of 2017, Ed has now continued his career and re-joined KOA Radio as host of his own show: “KOA Q and A with Ed Greene” on Saturday mornings, and fill-in anchor on Colorado’s Morning News.
